Try to avoid actual physical contact. Avoid drinking alcohol is possible as this makes us a little more friendly.

Canada’s War on Covid 19

The risk for severe illness from COVID 19 increases with age, with older adults at highest risk. Severe illness means that the person with COVID-19 may require hospitalization, intensive care, or a ventilator to help them breathe, or they may even die. All this is quite scary as many elderly people have minor illnesses that could escalate quickly into something deadly. So what about vitamins and natural remedies, do they help?

So far there is no evidence that eating more vitamins or any natural medicine can ward of Covid 19. As far as the cure goes there is some hope out there as Scientist’s around the world search. When a cure is found it will take some time for the entire human population to be vaccinated. This could take years. In the meantime the best cure is following preventive rules listed above. After what is that old adage? Prevention is better than cure.

Don’t Turn into a Hermit

One thing we should not let ourselves do is isolate completely on our own. Humans need others to socialize with to stay healthy. Being alone and isolated is the worst thing you can do. Reach out to social media or groups that offer support. Go online and join a group or seek out seniors meeting spots to interact. Just remember to follow preventive measures to keep the risk of contacting Covid 19 low.

Seniors that are living in our old age homes are at a very high risk simply because of close contact with each other. Even here we can practice safe measures to reduce the chances of infection. This virus is going to be with us for awhile and many will be infected. We as a human species have gone through many trials in history. Although our kind is somewhat of a puzzle we have beat all odds and are still here. We will be here after this crisis is over and hopefully what we have experienced will make us a little more humble.

Is Nature starting to fight back

People in general are mostly of good heart. After all a lot of people just want to live there lives in peace have shelter, clothing and food on the table. With this sudden shut down of exuberant resorts and rich travel destinations it looks like mother nature is getting a breather. Maybe this virus is nature trying to bring her balance back under control.

Let’s face it you cannot mess with the power of nature. Greed has been one of the biggest downfalls of humans. Money is the root of all evil they say and to chase and have it for a false idol will only end up in self destruction. Being dirt poor is not a way to go either. Balance is the law of the universe. When this balance becomes tilted to one side or the other mother nature steps in quickly to set things right. Right now in the world today you are witnessing nature returning the world to balance. Things could get ugly before we get there so stay as safe as you can and follow the rules above.
